RULES AND REGULATIONS

To keep the place enjoyable for you and your neighbors, and to avoid overcrowding, we are very strict on who can use the sites, and on our visitor policy.  Kamp Dels seasonal camping is for YOUR family only.
  1. A seasonal site is rented by one family. No sharing of sites allowed. Kamp Dels defines a family as an individual, or couple, including children under 22 still living at home. Kamp Dels acknowledges that for some, this might include only 1 person, and for others, it may be more. No additions or substitutions. You must register your car(s) once at the beginning of the year. Once registered, your family no longer needs to check in when entering the campground. We allow no more that two yearly vehicle passes per site.
  2. Any individual, not part of the family defined in #1, is considered a guest. A guest can be defined in 1 of 3 ways.

a . Daily Visitors- Your seasonal site fee includes 6 daily car passes. These passes are good for one day only. After you have used your free passes, your visitors will be charged the visitor fee listed in the current price list.

    b. An overnight guest in your trailer while you are here. Overnight guests pay the per person fee listed in the current pricelist. A friend of your child, or your grandchildren under 18 yrs old, may stay with you at no extra charge as long as they are the only guests. Grandchildren and friends staying with their parents are not free.

    c. Extra tents/camping units set up on your site. Family members as defined in #1, and their free overnight guests defined in 2(b) may set up an extra sleeping unit at no extra charge. If you have an extra sleeping unit setup, and any overnight guests which are not free [see 2(b)], you will be charged a regular unit fee listed in the current price list, irregardless of who sleeps where.

  3. A married son or daughter, or either of your parents, may use your trailer when you are not here, at no charge. All others using your trailer when you are not here will be charged a unit fee listed in the current price list.

TYPE OF UNITS ALLOWED/                                MAINTENANCE/STRUCTURES ALLOWED

  4. We will mow your site as necessary. Usually once per week. You are required to trim mow your site. We will mow everything that we can reasonably reach with our 7 foot mowing deck, without moving any of your items. Any areas we are unable to reach is considered trim mowing. Kamp Dels will trim any site where the grass/weeds are allowed to grow longer than 8 inches. Kamp Dels will add $20.00 to your account each time we need to trim your site. There is a service available from an outside firm that will keep your site trimmed for the whole summer for a fee. This fee will be much less than if Kamp Dels is required to trim it.
  5. All seasonal units must be a neat looking, commercially manufactured unit. No buses, mobile homes or home made trailers allowed. Seasonal trailers, which are being brought into the campground, must be less than 10 yrs old. All units must meet our requirement. If you are buying a trailer, which you plan to park as a seasonal, we suggest you get it approved before you buy. We reserve the right to reject any trailer for any reason. Trailers which are showing age, or are not properly maintained, will not be allowed to renew the site the following year.

  6. You may construct a "neat" door step, deck or porch. No wider than 12 feet and no longer than the length of your trailer. If your deck is taller than 30 inches, you must install hand rails for the steps, and railings around the edge of the deck.

  7. You may have one or two Rubbermaid (or the equivalent) storage containers on your site with a combined capacity of not more than 100 cubic feet. Storage boxes may only be placed behind the trailer if there is no camper behind you.  No homemade storage boxes are allowed. Current sites with well-maintained homemade storage boxes are "grand-fathered in."
  8. No permanent screened-in porches, gazebos, or TV stands. Screened in tents are allowed but must be taken down when you are not here.  You are allowed one small dish 18" or smaller for TV service.  We prefer these mounted to your deck, but if reception is not available, you may mount these in other locations.  Contact us before you dig. Any wire or posts must be removed when you terminate your site.
  9. Your camper must be equipped with a low water volume “camper style” toilet. No clothes washers, dryers, or house style flush toilets allowed. They tax our water and sewer systems.
  10. Your camper must fit your site with a 5 foot clearance to roads and 5 foot to the rear of your site. Utility hookups will typically not be moved.  Occasional exceptions are made at your expense.
  11. You may sell your trailer on site, with the new owners keeping the site, provided it is 10 years old or less, and in good condition. Any trailer being sold with the site must be approved by Kamp Dels prior to the sale. We reserve the right to not allow the trailer to stay on the site for any reason. This rule is updated on a yearly basis prior to renewal each year.

                                       PAYMENTS/FEES
  12. For new customers, your first quarter payment is due when you sign up.  For our current customers to renew their site for the following year, we require the first quarter payment by September 1st. Seasonals paying in full by September 1st for the following year, will receive a discount. Quarterly payments are due as follows: 1st payment as stated, with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th due February 1, March 1, and April 1. Payments are non-refundable after the due date. Any amount paid in advance of the due date is refundable with cancellation notice. Late payments are charged $20.00, plus 1.4% interest per month. Accounts which are habitually late will not be allowed to renew for the following year.

  13. Site fee includes: water, sewer, and either 30 or 50 amp metered electrical service. We will not change over sites which are equipped for only 30 amp to 50 amp. New customers will be charged a $100.00 estimated electrical fee. Returning customers will be charged the largest amount of electrical usage they have had since they became a seasonal as an estimated electric bill. Yearly updates are sent out at the end of the year. If you have overpaid your account, the following year’s account will be credited, (or a refund check if you prefer). If you underpaid, you will receive a bill.
  14. If you renew your site for the following year, with the 1st quarterly payment (non-refundable), you may leave your trailer on site through the winter at no charge. If you are not planning to return, you must remove your unit by October 20th.
